New York City to Pilot Credit Acceptance in Cabs
The New York City Taxi and Limousine commission, AT&T, Visa international, Master card, American Express and Taxitronic™ announced a 12 month pilot of 250 Yellow Medallion Taxi cabs accepting credit cards. The cabs equipped with Taxitronic™ TX36 wireless taximeters will be able to accept credit cards with on-line real time authorization. Watch the video clip for details.
