VTS Vehicle GPS Systems are integrated into each of the powerful VTS Transportation Applications. VTS Vehicle GPS Systems consist of on-board GPS receivers, antennas and VTS's proprietary GPS enabling software architecture which operates through the VTS Integrated Applications
Board
located in a tamper-proof assembly under the vehichle's dash.
VTS Vehicle GPS Systems incorporate advanced positioning, error correction and compensation algorithms to deliver superlative accuracy and performance. GPS updates occur with a resolution of 1 second and are available to support AVL functions, Trip Logging, Emergency Location, Text Messaging, Dispatch, and Driver Navigation Assistance.
VTS Vehicle GPS Systems are also available with an optional dead reckoning module that adds gyroscopic positioning sensors for operations where satellite signals may be compromised, for example, tunnel operations, mining applications, etc.).
